I didn’t choose mental health : It chose me.
Growing up in a home where a loved one silently battled mental health challenges, I saw firsthand the deafening silence, societal stigma, and shattered support systems that define India's mental health landscape. The pain was personal—but the vision that followed was revolutionary.
As I immersed myself in my own healing and growth, I realized that if people truly prioritized their mental well-being—and if the system supported them—India could transform. This insight led me to train as a psychologist, but I held back from practicing until the pandemic struck. As mental health needs skyrocketed and support systems collapsed, I took a leap of faith, left my stable job with no backup plan, and founded New Thought Therapist—now known as The New Thought Collective.
What began as a therapist’s dream is now a nationwide movement. The New Thought Collective is igniting a silent revolution—providing quality mental health services and working to empower 100,000 mental health professionals with skills, financial freedom, and the deep belief that they are enough. We’re rebuilding the mental health ecosystem with ethics, innovation, compassion, and collaboration at its core
